TONU/ Detention Pay

As a trucker, you are familiar with TONU(TRUCK ORDER NOT USED), which happens when a confirmed appointment is cancelled completely and is not available when you arrive for pickup. You should be paid for the extra time spent waiting on a load or appointment which is generally $150-$300 per truck…an industry standard. Over-sized loads begin around $500. IFTA/IRP Compliance Services

Reasons to register for IRP include: travel across state or provincial borders, and hauling more than 10k pounds. For IFTA- you vehicle must have at least 2 axles & a GVW of more than 26k pounds..have 3 or more axles, or if your vehicle transports 26k pounds and is used in combination.
